Summary

She must not be deceived by the halo of omnipotence, nor turn a blind eye to the darkness within them. They are children of chaos, born in pools where blood and groans have gathered. Cruelty and indifference are etched into their very nature, and at times, they reveal a tenacious, almost obsessive fixation. Chaos has bestowed upon them far too many talents and abilities, despite their possessing not even the slightest desire to contribute to anything, anywhere. And yet, they were beings who overcame their boredom through destruction. The order, conscience, and morality that humanity so desperately wished to preserve… such notions held no value or meaning to them. They did not even understand what it meant to be cruel. She knew they did. Or perhaps, if she was only pretending to understand… would they come to despise even her and push her away?
